Green team Academy

Hi, I'm Joan!

Thank you for stopping by! My name is Joan Gregerson and I am an Eco-Nut. After over 20 years working to help green cities, counties, school districts and state agencies, I realized something was missing both in my personal life and work life.

Through a series of twists and turns, I started an environmental nonprofit in Longmont, Colorado. Sustainable Revolution Longmont was a group of us trying to make a difference. And you know what? We did! Now, Sustainable Resilient Longmont, the organization has gone on without me to continue making an impact for the good.

After living in Longmont, I returned to the neighborhood where I grew up. There, I started a neighborhood green team. The Congress Park Neighbors Green Team flourished and again, continued on strong even after I moved on.

In 2019, I mentored 20 teams as part of the Green Team Accelerator Lab. And, I've interviewed dozens of people around the world through my podcast and Earth Week Summits.

In 2020, our goal is to help launch 1,000 eco-initiatives in 90 days with the 2020 International Climate Action Challenge. The book, Climate Action Challenge, gives a step-by-step plan for launching your environmental or community initiative.

Through these experiences, I learned how fulfilling, nurturing and effective small teams can be. Now, I help people who want to get together, make a difference and feel better. I mentor them as they start eco-clubs or green teams (same same) in their neighborhoods, schools, workplaces or faith communities. You can do it too!

Would you like a speaker or trainer to help your crew flourish? Contact me.

Now is the time for action. There is no Planet B!
